The absolute loveliest of days. Walked from the hotel to the Globe Theater where Hillsong London calls home on Sunday’s. Post service I went with a large group of twenty-somethings and hangout for a couple hours. Then met up with E and her childhood nanny to tour the ol’ neighborhood for a bit.
Lunch at Sticky Fingers (owned by Bil Hyman of the Rolling Stones) was uh-mazing.

Arrived in London. Missed our first train, but were able to get on the following, relatively empty, train. Visited the Tates and walked a bit. Love that all the museums are free in this city. Jumped into the cutest little flower shop and chatted with the owner for a bit.So fun celebrating a friend’s Golden Birthday in their place of birth!

Last day in Paris! Met Nneka and her co worker, Joanna at a cafe near Galeries Lafayette and then we split ways. Brombs and I headed to the champs-élysées, again. Picked up a Mother’s Day present for mi madre. Getting the VAT tax back will be FANTASTIC.
Excited to head to an English speaking place soon!

Louvre and Luxembourg Gardens were on the agenda, today. We didn’t actually go inside the Louvre, mind you—been there thrice before, no need to go back during this particular jaunt. Walked from The Louvre to Notre Dame and passed by Pont des Arts with it’s array of “Love Padlocks”. Headed to The Sarbonne campus for a bite and drink to end the day.
Enjoyed relaxing with friends and leisurely enjoying our time in Paris.

Walked around A LOT.
Saint-Germain-des-Pres—-> Walked along The Seine—-> Cafe Maggot—-> Museum d’orsay——>American Church in Paris.
Ended the night at our friend Valerie’s cousin, Ania’s, place (such convoluted grammar!) for wine and chatting.
Loved getting lost in such a beautiful city!
