The absolute loveliest of days. Walked from the hotel to the Globe Theater where Hillsong London calls home on Sunday’s. Post service I went with a large group of twenty-somethings and hangout for a couple hours. Then met up with E and her childhood nanny to tour the ol’ neighborhood for a bit.

Lunch at Sticky Fingers (owned by Bil Hyman of the Rolling Stones) was uh-mazing.

Arrived in London. Missed our first train, but were able to get on the following, relatively empty,  train. Visited the Tates and walked a bit. Love that all the museums are free in this city.  Jumped into the cutest little flower shop  and chatted with the owner for a bit.

Strolled around and had dinner at a pub. Finished the night at The Shaftesbury celebrating Elisabeth’s 25th birthday.

So fun celebrating a friend’s Golden Birthday in their place of birth!

Excited to head to an English speaking place soon!

Day 73/292

The day of many many pictures.

Louvre and Luxembourg Gardens were on the agenda, today. We didn’t actually go inside the Louvre, mind you—been there thrice before, no need to go back during this particular jaunt. Walked from The Louvre to Notre Dame and passed by Pont des Arts with it’s array of “Love Padlocks”.   Headed to The Sarbonne campus for a bite and drink to end the day.

Enjoyed relaxing with friends and leisurely enjoying our time in Paris.

Day 71/294

—-
Woke up and grabbed a croissant at one of the many nearby patisserie (this became our morning tradition). Headed to the Champs-Élyséess and shopped at Chanel, Louboutin and such. Had a traditional french lunch of Croque-Monsieurs and overpriced french fries in the heart of the area.

Headed to the  Marais and fell in love with the place—amazing cobble stoned streets and vintage shops

We ended the night at a random bar in the Bastille area  with Nneka.

Loved seeing NYC friends in Paris!
